Objective:

To create a safe, fun, hardworking classroom community, where every student feels that
their voice is represented, in hopes of creating a community where everyone feels
challenged to grow, supported, and free to be true to who they are growing into being.
By treating each classroom as a unique entity with its own personality, we encourage
civic dialogue that is respectful of the diversity of that class (diversity through life
experience, as well as gender, sexual orientation, religious views, ethnicity, etc.) By
honoring language, we can create a classroom community that will help each of us live
respectfully, honestly, learn to hold ourselves accountable for our actions and words, and
live life excited about learning, no matter the subject area.
